Pets Should be Happy–not “S.A.D.”

One might not assume that “Seasonal Affective Disorder” (S.A.D.) could affect our pets as well as ourselves–but it can! Animals, like humans, need sufficient exposure to beneficial levels of sunlight and ionized air. As summer is upon us (and hopefully nice weather along with it), let us be sure to take our dogs out’n'about as much as possible! Check out your local dog parks, walking  trails, beaches, lakes, etc. as a great excuse for your animal, as well as yourself, to catch some much needed sun rays!

Peanut Butter–great taste AND good for your dog?!

Have you ever noticed that most dogs REALLY love the taste of peanut butter? According to vetinfo.com– dog food may not provide all of the nutrients your beloved pooch needs; however, peanut butter can provide what is missing from your pet’s diet! Did you know that peanut butter is high in Vitamins H and E? These vitamins have been proven to benefit your dog’s skin, coat, nails, and their immune system. Veterinarians have especially recommended organic peanut butter treats as a way to prevent toxins from pesticides and fat  from entering your pet’s body.  Try our  Wet Noses Peanut Butter & Molasses organic dog treats to get your pet started on a healthy dose of peanut butter!  :)

(note: some dogs on rare occasion may be allergic to peanuts, so please be sure to monitor your pet’s health if he/she experiences any discomfort after consumption of peanut butter)
